Identifica bibliotecas públicas innovadoras que se inserten en la comunidad, de forma creativa y valora especialmente la capacidad y actitud para articular con distintos dispositivos y actores.
Como su nombre lo señala, buscan que mas allá del valor de la conectividad física y lógica, el mundo digital sea una herramienta integrada a la vida de las personas.
Beyond Access considera a la biblioteca pública una herramienta privilegiada para incorporar la tecnología y el manejo de recursos de información y educación a la vida cotidiana de las personas. Cree que esos espacio de largo vínculo con las sociedades están listos para llevar la bandera del cambio en virtud de sus raíces sociales.
