Habrá nueva marcha por la “no violencia de género”
La coordinadora departamental de género realizó el anuncio de una nueva marcha por la “No Violencia de Género”, a realizarse por calle Uruguay, con concentración en Plaza Artigas a la hora 19:30. Natalie Robaina y Norma Lapaz, en representación de la Coordinadora, informaron los detalles de esta invitación, donde participaran vecinos del Barrio Don Atilio, concentrándose en el EID, como punto de partida hasta la concertación
En este sentido indicaron que la Coordinadora Departamental de Género, es un espacio de coordinación y articulación de acciones por parte de organizaciones sociales, organizaciones públicas y asociaciones civiles, a nivel departamental y nacional que desde el año 2009 comenzaron a trabajar juntos en materia de políticas de género.
“Las cuestiones de género, son una perspectiva que transpersonaliza los diferentes ámbitos de trabajo y comprende instituciones vinculadas a la educación, la salud y muchas organizaciones más”, señaló Robaina.
A raíz de las diferentes acciones que en materia de género se venían realizando de manera desarticulada por las diferentes organizaciones, la Coordinadora comienza a funcionar marcándose tres ejes o líneas de trabajo: la capacitación, la incidencia política y sensibilización.
“En materia de incidencia política se puede destacar una serie de ciclos de diálogos que se organizaron, en el área de capacitación también se actuó de diferentes maneras y en el eje de sensibilización las actividades se centraron (día contra la violencia de género)” puntualizaron las representantes de la Coordinadora.
